Nick Bradley, author of the best-selling The Cat and The City, will be talking to Joe Mungo Reed about his new novel Four Seasons in Japan – set in rural Japan, in a town called Onomichi, Hiroshima prefecture, it has been described as a gorgeously crafted book-within-a-book about literature, purpose and what it is to belong. David Mitchell called Nick’s debut The Cat and The City “vibrant and accomplished”. It was a BBC Radio 2 Book Club pick, long listed for the Dublin Literary Award, 2021, and has been so far translated into thirteen languages. Nick teaches on the Master's in Creative Writing here at Cambridge.
There will be a Q&A at the event and a chance of winning one of three signed copies of Four Seasons in Japan. All event attendees will be entered into a prize draw and three winners will be selected at random on Thursday 13th July. View the terms and conditions here.
