Professor Martin Millett FBA FSA speaks on the interactions between indigenous people and the Roman Empire.
Martin John Millett, FBA, FSA is the Laurence Professor of Classical Archaeology at the University of Cambridge and a Professorial Fellow of Fitzwilliam College. His research interests focus on the social and economic archaeology of the Roman World and the interactions between indigenous peoples and the Roman Empire. His current work includes research on Portus and Southern Lazio in Italy, and on Aldborough in North Yorkshire. He has published widely on the Roman landscape and its influence.
